For more than two decades, the Kiwanis Club of La Mirada has proudly supported local students through its annual Pat Ruiz Memorial Scholarship program. This year, the organization awarded six scholarships of $1,000 each to outstanding graduating seniors who reside in the City of La Mirada.
Scholarship recipients were selected based on academic achievement, personal merit, and demonstrated commitment to civic and community involvement. The awards recognize students who have excelled both in the classroom and in service to others.
Scholarship funds will be distributed upon verification of enrollment at an accredited college, university, or trade school for the upcoming academic year.
The Kiwanis Club of La Mirada is pleased to recognize the following recipients for the 2026–2027 academic year. Each student was honored during their respective school scholarship ceremonies:
- Jane Snell
- Benjamin Cantell
- Isabella Goulet
- Tatiana Saucedo
- Jesse Cha
- Cynthia Wight
The Kiwanis Club of La Mirada extends its congratulations to these exceptional young scholars and wishes them continued success as they pursue their educational and career goals.
