The 2026 La Mirada Little League Junior All-Stars are officially Southern California State Champions, capping an extraordinary postseason run with a championship victory. Their latest triumph sends the team to the 2026 Little League Junior League Baseball West Regional Tournament in Bend, Oregon, where they will proudly represent La Mirada and all of Southern California.
For the players, coaches, and families, it’s the reward for months of dedication, discipline, and determination. For the City of La Mirada, it’s another proud chapter in one of Southern California’s richest Little League traditions.
The journey to Oregon didn’t happen overnight. The Juniors first captured the District Championship, followed by the Section Championship, before earning the title of Southern California State Champions. With each victory, the team proved they belong among the best Junior League teams in the state.
Now they will face champions from across the western United States with the opportunity to advance to the Little League Junior League Baseball World Series.
La Mirada Little League has built a reputation for producing championship-caliber teams while teaching the values of teamwork, sportsmanship, leadership, and perseverance.
The 2026 team joins an elite list of accomplishments that includes:
- 2003 – Junior League World Series Champions
- 2013 – Southern California Champions and Western Regional Finalists
- 2026 – Southern California State Champions and Western Regional Participants
Each generation has added to the league’s proud baseball heritage, and this year’s team is no exception.
While earning a trip to the Western Regional Tournament is an incredible accomplishment, competing on that stage comes with significant expenses. Traveling to Bend, Oregon requires transportation, hotel accommodations, meals, and other tournament-related costs for the players and coaches. La Mirada Little League is asking the community, local businesses, and supporters to help make this unforgettable experience possible.
Every contribution, regardless of the amount, will go directly toward helping the team reach Oregon and represent La Mirada with pride.
