Job seekers across Southeast Los Angeles County will have an opportunity to connect directly with employers when Cerritos College hosts its semi-annual Job Fair on Thursday, April 2, 2026. The free event will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Cerritos College Student Center, located at 11110 Alondra Boulevard in Norwalk.
More than 30 employers are expected to participate, offering job seekers the chance to explore current openings, submit applications on-site, and network with hiring representatives from a wide range of industries. Participating sectors are expected to include healthcare, sales, retail, and government/public service, providing opportunities for candidates with diverse backgrounds and skill levels.
Organizers encourage attendees to dress in business attire and bring several copies of their resumes to share with potential employers.
The event is free and open to the public, making it an accessible opportunity for community members who are seeking employment, exploring new career paths, or looking to make professional connections.
Free parking will be available in Lot 1 only for those attending the job fair.
Cerritos College serves as a comprehensive community college for southeastern Los Angeles County, with district communities that include Artesia, Bellflower, Cerritos, Downey, Hawaiian Gardens, La Mirada, Norwalk, and portions of Bell Gardens, Lakewood, Long Beach, Santa Fe Springs, and South Gate.
The college offers nearly 300 degree and certificate programs across nine academic divisions, and more than 5,000 students complete their studies each year. Current enrollment averages approximately 21,000 students.
